Privacy Policy for [App Name]

Last Updated: June 17, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how Noova Games / Noova Apps (“we,” “our,” or “the Company”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application, [App Name] (“the App”). This App is specifically designed for and directed at children.

We are committed to protecting children’s privacy. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Google Play Families policies, and other applicable privacy laws.

1. Information We Collect

At [App Name], we DO NOT collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from children. This means we do not ask for or store names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, dates of birth, or any other information that could individually identify a child.

Furthermore, our App DOES NOT allow for user account creation. There are no registrations, profiles, or features that require or store users’ personal information.

We may collect non-personally identifiable information in an anonymous and aggregated form, primarily to ensure the proper functioning of the App and to deliver non-personalized contextual advertising:

  • Device technical data: Device type, operating system, screen resolution, internet service provider information, and general non-precise location information (e.g., via masked IP address to determine country or region and offer contextually relevant ads, not to identify the user).
  • Anonymous usage data: Information about how the App is used (e.g., which sections are visited most frequently, how long is spent on certain activities). This data is collected in a way that cannot identify any individual user and is used to improve the game experience and App performance.

2. How We Use the Information We Collect

The non-personal information we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To improve and optimize the App: We analyze anonymous usage data to understand how children interact with the App and to make improvements to its design, content, and functionality.
  • To ensure technical operation: We use device technical data to troubleshoot errors, improve compatibility, and ensure the App runs smoothly.
  • To serve contextual (non-personalized) advertising: We use device information and App content to display ads that are relevant to the content being viewed at that moment or to the general geographic location. These ads are provided by AdMob and are strictly non-personalized. They are not based on Browse history, previous user activity, or profile creation.

3. Information Sharing

We DO NOT share any personally identifiable information from children with third parties.

The non-personal and aggregated information we collect may be shared with:

  • Service providers: Who help us with data analysis (e.g., Google Analytics for Firebase, if used in a child-privacy-compliant manner, i.e., without PII collection) or with ad delivery.
  • AdMob (Google): We use Google AdMob to serve ads in the App. We have configured AdMob to treat all ad requests as child-directed content (TFCD). This means AdMob will disable ad personalization and the collection of advertising identifiers for these users, ensuring that only non-personalized, contextual, and child-safe ads are displayed. AdMob does not collect persistent identifiers from users for the purpose of creating child profiles or serving personalized advertising in this context.

4. Advertising

[App Name] displays advertising provided by Google AdMob. This advertising complies with the following strict guidelines:

  • Contextual and non-personalized advertising: The ads shown are related to the current content or activity within the App, or are based on general demographic information (e.g., device language). AdMob is configured not to use targeted, interest-based, or behavioral advertising for users of this App. User profiles are not created based on Browse behavior or activity history.
  • Age-appropriate content: All AdMob ads are filtered to ensure their content is suitable for a child audience and complies with the App’s content ratings and Google Play Families policies.
  • Clearly identifiable: Ads are always displayed in a way that is clearly distinguishable from the game or App content, often with a label such as “Ad” or “Advertisement.”
  • No links to app stores without parental control: Ads that link to other apps or stores always do so via an interstitial screen that requires parental control so the child cannot directly access an unsupervised environment.

5. Links to External Websites

[App Name] DOES NOT include direct links to external websites, social media, or app stores that are not protected by parental control. If an AdMob ad contains a link, it will always be mediated by a parental control mechanism to protect the child from unsupervised environments.

6. In-App Purchases

If the App offers in-app purchases (e.g., to unlock additional content or remove ads), these will always be protected by a clear and effective parental control mechanism to prevent accidental purchases by children. This may include a math problem, a security question, or access to a family password.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the non-personal information collected from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. We implement technical and organizational safeguards to ensure data confidentiality and integrity. However, no internet data transmission or electronic storage method is 100% secure.

8. Parental Rights

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

  • Request information from us about the non-personal, anonymous, and aggregated data we may have collected related to your child’s App usage.
  • Request the deletion of any non-personal data associated with your child’s use of the App (although, as we do not collect PII, this request would apply to the deletion of anonymous usage data associated with the device).
  • Contact us if you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policy or our data practices.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the contact information provided below.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in legislation. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
